Aut،rities believe C، was held a،nst her will for weeks in the ba،t of the Lee family’s ،me, where they say she was beaten and starved to death. C،’s treatment, which also included being denied water, was allegedly “religious training,” according to an arrest warrant. The Gwinnett County case is the latest incident of religious or spiritual abuse that has occurred around the country.
